Materials usually cost around 3,000 to 5,000. If you want top-tier material, however, you could be paying up to 20,000 baht. When choosing the material for your suit, remember that Thailand specializes in silk. If you want a silk suit, a local fabric could be a good choice. When it comes to other materials, however, opt for English or Italian imported fabric. You could even bring the fabric of your choice from home to cut down on costs.

TIME

Time is of the essence, especially when you’re only going to be in the country for a few days. Make time for at least two fittings for your suit. The majority of tailors will require a minimum of three days for a suit, although some will have you wait over a week. It’s important for you to give as much detail as you can early on to spare corrections later. You’ve got to specify whether you want a single or double-breasted jacket, how many buttons you want, whether you want a narrow or a wide lapel, and even the number of vents in the back of the jacket.
